Monthly Sparks
We release a tool or resource intended to spark an idea to assist local teams in further implementing the System of Care framework.
System of Care is a strategy to best meet the needs of children, youth, young adults, and their families by applying a framework that guides a local community to:
- organize and coordinate within a formalized structure;
- adopt shared values and philosophy of collaborating, decision making, and service delivery;
- include formal and informal resources in providing input and collectively making decisions;
- affirms the value of family and youth voice in all strategies, at service and system levels;
- utilize data to drive decision making and resource allocation;
- address any emerging or changing needs in a community;
- braid and blend staff and financial resources; and,
- ensure that services and supports exist and can be accessed that are unique to the community.
